My son is a game developer and when he saw what these people did he couldn’t believe they could treat their fans this badly. Positive reviews in 2021 and later are probably from the developers friends. Positive reviews prior to 2021 show you the love this game had. I have reached out to the developer and her nothing, and my reviews on their web site were removed. Version 2 was bad, but it was nothing compared to the debacle Version 4 is. Look at the version details to see what they did. The only fix is to fire whoever ruined this game and revert back to either version 1 or 3.

I bought all the armies and used to play it many times each day for many YEARS! Now I only start it when I see it has had an update in the forlorn hope they have reverted the game to what was once a 5 star game. The colours and tiles look so bad and different from the game I love. The buttons are all smaller and less intuitive.
